Analyzed the feasibility of creating a local vegetables production in a climatically hostile environment through the establishment of vegetable gardens network.

 

Scotland, United Kingdom

Analyzed the local production of single malt Scotch whisky in several Whisky factories (e.g., Glenfiddich); met smoked salmon producers to understand perishable product’s peculiarities.

 

Brescia, Italy

Visited local wineries (e.g., Lazzari) to learn the area’s winemaking production and techniques.

Learned South Korean food culture and history travelling from Jeju Island to Seoul; visited several local producer Korean fermented specialties: sea ray and kimchi.

Visited several fishermen and fish markets along the coast of Termoli to understand the quality of the fish of the Adriatic sea in the Mediterranean.
